a GOOD fall

it´s gonna be a great fall!

Friendly action at the calm and creative MB7, with the GRAND OPENING at 28th of october - with some seriously fresh showcases, bands and music, great guests and lot´s of godmade beautiful people! And digging cacao with friends and a round of MONOPOLY, letting José Gonzales or Joan Baez ease our minds. Going to the 10th aniversary for student union NY GENERASJON in oil town Stavanger; meeting up with the old radicals and jesus-lovers from all over the country; helping eachother closer to the heart of God our Father; reunion gig with spiky new-metal band 2nd Try (yeah!) and some great fellowship with great friends.... fixing my snowboardboots for the upcoming winter, getting some music ready for SENTRAL FESTIVAL 20-21 October (great music, great art, great people) and watching SK Brann beat the () out of RBK and winning the league for the first time in 40something years....!!!

Pickin up my 2 nephews at kindergarden and playing firemen on the playground or building LEGO in the basement - fixin some great tasty food together with family and friends as we enjoy living and carry eachothers burdens..

wathcing SNAKES ON A PLANE and films by young great norwegian directors - responding in natural praise and love to the love of God and his giving life! - at KF building sunday mornings - bringing together the hippieband for the occation.

and perhaps first ever exhibition...?

what is MB7?

MB7 is the young punk that create the trends that is later picked up. MB7 is the shelter for the hot blood and the grace rain that has no room at the established auntie-centers. MB7 is the great space, the panoramic rehearsel room, the white artists, the moviemakers FRAM, the smart PETTER, the musicmakers at MAKE, the boys from electric, the curly beauty of childrens faces, the creative soul M, the illusion of Gazki, the moment captured by Ø Little Flock, what u sit on from Canada, the green lounge and the lunchlounge...

Back! Every time i go to europe it steals a piece of my heart... this time thanx berlin, haldern, porto, lagos and costa blanca..

A life in bergen is like a constant wedding - friends are finding the love of life and making a promise for their lifetime; it´s always beautiful - and a great joy to share; this time ruben and therese had their weddingfestival at norwegian retrohall "fensal" - clashing up a splendid big dissh of a wedding - my favourite part being the band playing the cash-style country rockabilly beat behind the dark blue curtain shutting up the theatrical gipsy-stage; muito cool

the creative great space

MB7 is the name of the new culture center that is being established these days in Møllendalsbakken 7, right across from KF`s building in MB6 - the 2 stories will be filled with artists, designers, film-makers, dancers, funky kids, God-lovers, bands and studios - we won`t do much fixing or renovation at all as this might be a bit temporary - but as we move into JULY I am sure more and more action will resonate the walls of MB7.

WORLD CUP # 2

yes - only a week left before kick off in germany; and here are latest thoughts on the event:

again i must say; JAPAN is eager to win the whole sulamitt and watch out; they might not seem dangerous but inherit qualities that can smash big guns like germany, italy or england easily!

They held home faves Germany to 2-2 in Germany 30th of May - and even had the 2-0 lead up til the last 15 minutes...

Don`t miss Japans opener against Liverpool man Harry Kewell and newcomers Australia Monday June 12 at 15.00 pm.

Fill your freezer with pizza, ur fridge with epleboble and team up with friends from work and school - time for some quality bonding infront of the telly! jess.

KIDNAP

I´m not a kid (but I do wear caps), still friday at 19 pm my apartment was ambushed by 3 skinny guys wearing white drama-masks; saying nothing but tying a scarf around my head to cover my eyes, and trying to tape my hands and feet with "maskerings"-tape (for when painting indoors) - not the srongest tape in town..hehe - they throwed me into the trunk of a suburban middle-class car and played the new punk single "personal decay" from Silver repeatedly loud on the stereo. THIS  was my 29th birthday and with no plans but to finnish my pasta-dinner I was now laying in the trunk of a car listening to doors slamming, my body elevating as the lads drive over speed-bumps; trying to fight the message of the oslo-rockers. Suddenly I was forcefully (as hard as they were able to - we are not talking bench-pressers here...) led to the top of a hill, put to the ground and rolled down the steep lawn with my hands tied and my eyes (kind of) covered....

this is LOVE

a gang of great friends had made a surprise party for me  - barbeque at the "Christensens" apartment in the mountainside; lot´s of good food and great people, they even gave me nice presents: exclusive TMSO -t shirt, original U2 LP´s from early 80`s, great kitchen -gear (a hint?) and LUDO: the game that shows who u really are: from doing nothing to a full party; i never would have expected; THANX!!!

NATIONAL NORWAY

18th of may 06. The first rainy day in bergen for as long as I can remember, (which is fine). David Gray is excusing himself for acting a little strange (in johnny´s cd-player), the grasscutters from Vestbo are drivin cross-country on our sump-lawn, coffee from Friele (type: for the pressure-can) in my pre-heated cup as I read the daily news on the net and find out Barcelona won the Champions League (THANKFULLY!) and smile when thinkin back on our national day, the 17th of may. A free country where u have the possibility to grow up safe and sound, exploring the adventures and talents given from the Maker... and inside grows a thankful heart. Endless numbers beautiful people, and u friends are among them; Ragnhild´s birthday was lovely; and as the sky opened and rain hammered on the roof of the party-tent, candles were lid, stories told, blankets tucked and Salvatore makin forgiving noise on the retro-player; we are truly blessed!
